Grant History  
2001
$45,000 City Development Block Grant, received from the City of Providence for building acquisition.  

2002

$50,000 Building Better Communities Grant, received from RI Housing Mortgage and Finance Corporation for building acquisition.  

2003

$5,000 Mini Grant, received from The Rhode Island Foundation for building acquisition.  

In August 2003, The Hive uses the $100,000 raised over the last three years to purchase the building at 150 Manton Avenue.

$30,000 RI Historic Preservation & Heritage Commission (RIHP&HC) awards The Hive a 1:1 matching State Preservation Grant for Phase 1 of building renovation.  

2004

$30,000 Councilwoman Joan DiRuzzo matches the RIHP&HC funds   $ 22,500 RI Historic Preservation & Heritage Commission (RIHP&HC) awards The Hive a 2:1 matching State Preservation Grant for Phase 1 of building renovation.  

2005

$5,000 received from Bank RI  

2006
$40,000 City Development Block Grant, received from the City of Providence for building renovation.
